French Failings…

A wonderfully contemplative exhibit, the French Pavilion reviewed movement of modern architecture and its ‘Real’ impact on the people of the time…did they find it disappointing?

Angular spaces that intersected and allowed circulation that was uninhibited and allowed you to return easily to review an area that now posed new questions.

The story was told through the use of original scale models, text and a strong audio-visual component.

Modernist movies posed questions, and directed us to think again…was the modern movement successful?

A central zone allows circulation around it. It’s walls directing, but held off the entry to the 3 remaining zones.
