Just recently, the Architectural Institute of British Columbia held their 2016 Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia Awards program and judging.
We’re delighted to see a number of projects we’ve photographed recognised within this program. A big congratulations to these all the firms that were recognised for their contribution to the profession and the public through their work.
Fort McMurray Airport, International Airport Terminal by the office of mcfarlane biggar architects + designers received a merit Award.
A delightful and well organised space that makes the (not always enjoyable) movement and transition through an airport a wonderful experience.
The Shaughnessy House by Measured Architecture was awarded with an AIBC Special Jury Award.
Measured did a wonderful job rethinking, reworking and reshaping the spaces within this Edwardian house to allow for a modern way of living.
It’s always a delight to photograph wonderful old Architecture, but when new contemporary work has been incorporated into it well, we get really excited.
